Description
Counterpain Patch: Contains glycol salicylate 1.4% w/w, l-menthol 4.9% w/w, dl-camphor 0.9% w/w, tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E) 2.0% w/w.
Counterpain Patch Hot: Contains glycol salicylate 2.0% w/w, l-menthol 1.0% w/w, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl nonylic acid amide 0.013% w/w, tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E).
Indications/Uses
Relief of muscular and joint pain associated with lumbago, bruise, sprain, stiff shoulder, arthralgia, aching muscle, muscle fatigue, chilblains, bone-fracture pains.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Directions: Ensure the affected area is clean and dry. Remove the smaller film and stick the exposed patch on the affected area.
Stick the other part by removing the film. May use up to 4 to 6 hours.
Counterpain Patch: May apply patch several times a day (Max 4 times/day).
Please consult doctor for use on children below 12 years old. Do not use on children below 7 years old.
Before use, apply a small piece of the patch on the soft area inside the arm to make sure that no symptoms, such as eruptions, redness, itching and rashes occur.
If the patient's skin is sensitive, avoid repeated use at the same site.
Consult a doctor or pharmacist if the pain does not improve after 5 to 6 days of use.
Counterpain Patch Hot: May apply patch several times a day (Max 4 times/day).
Do not use on children below 13 years old.

Remove the patch 1 hour prior to taking a bath/shower. Taking a bath/shower immediately after removing the patch may cause strong irritation.
Do not apply the patch if the affected areas are warmed with heating appliances such as foot warmer and electric blankets.
If the patient's skin is sensitive, avoid repeated use at the same site.
Consult a doctor or pharmacist if the pain does not improve after 5 to 6 days of use.
Overdosage
No case of overdose has been reported. In the event of overdose with obvious clinical manifestations, stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
Do not use if the patient is allergic to external application products or to the active ingredients contained in the formulation.
Special Precautions
For external use only. Do not use the patch around the eyes, mucous membranes, eczema, rashes and wounds. Pregnant women, nursing mothers and any person with allergic reaction, please consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
This product contains camphor and as such, can cause convulsion. Contraindicated in children below 2 years of age. Caution must be exercised when older children are treated. Avoid direct application into the nostrils.

Discontinue use if rash, itching, redness or eruption occurs.
